130 gr. is va stout load. Yes it is, especially using FFG, not as stout using Fg. Standard load for International Percussion Smooth bore Musket Match, 13 rounds on B17 target at 50 yards-best ten shots score.

Hog hit at 20 yards with this load was knocked down, got up and walked away. It was found the next day with the help of the buzzards a ways past where I stopped looking...no blood trail.
