Humm, I go the opposite direction and end up with a bunch grouse for Dinner.

Couple of year ago we cut open some 12 gauge shotgun shells and pulled out the wad and shot. Load 130 grains of FG down the barrel of our 75 cal EIC Muskets. Pushed the plastic wad from the 12 gauge shell down over the powder. Poured in the shot and put a card wad over the top.

Normally I load 130 grain Fg, 3/4 felt wad .735 round ball, 3/4 felt wad. (sidenote:b een told to try .750 RB in my musket, if the balls will go.

So much the same as the 12 gauge load with out the plastic case.
