The French copy nobody and nobody copies the French.
k80 = They look nice; but they are french.
Is there anything wrong with French craftsmanship or design or is this just much and well deserved French bashing.
I've always wanted to get a Darne sliding breech double and was going to pursue it shortly, until I came upon your posts. I would have loved to acquire the Superbrite side opening over & under, also.
Again, are the designs used by the French bad? Why don't they copy others? If their stuff is any good, why don't others copy them? Does this also apply to the Belgiums?
