I read that article a couple days ago.. per the article from my memory is high elevation hunts.. so they are suggesting lighter weight rifles.. which I agree with .. I have no desire to slug around a 10lb rifle when I can carry a 6lb one instead that will do the same thing..

The rifle I have used for high mtn hunts around the planet is 6.75lbs --all in including sling and scope.. and is very accurate..chambered in 280AI..
