I would buy one of these incredibly ugly pedersolis and have a custom proper vintage pistol wooden grip made for it.

Pity they are .45 Long Colt. A .45/70 would be better, with a 480 gr lead bullet at maybe 1100 fps. Similar to a .577 Snider. Maybe load down a .45/70 to 850 fps.

A .45 Long Colt can be in a revolver. Why bother with it in a howdah?

I would buy one for fun however. Not with that ridiculous stock ...

Could a .45 Long Colt be rechambéred? Extractors changed? If so a eaish fix?

Need to get permission from the coppers to buy, impossible?

A percussion ml might be fun as well.
