This gun is made on my very favorite boxlock action - the Facile Princeps.

It's impossible to file the sleek lines you see here on an A&D action, because the cocking levers of an A&D protrude straight out the front of the bars. The cocking levers of the Facile Princeps action curve inward to articulate off the back of the forward barrel lump. That gets them out of the way and allows the front of the action to be tapered in such a beautiful fashion.

This shaping of the action allows for the most graceful splinter forend. And oh yeah, it's definitely a cat gun.
