They are advertising on their web site, so I guess it is not that easy to fill.

But if it is teaching just one four year old kid, I don't think the hours would be that demanding. Some spending money would of course be an advantage.

Also if you get to live in a resort and not have to pay "observer rates" of hundreds of dollars a day then I guess the added benefits might be a plus. I think a year spent this way might well be an experience to remember for the rest of your life especially when if the person is a real teacher and has to deal with Western schools for the rest of their career.

We always see young persons on internet forums looking to become PHs and how to do it. Most times they want full salaries plus benefits etc etc. I have always thought working for free and hoping for board and lodging is the ONLY way to get a look in and get some experience if you don't already live there. The guy that runs this tourist camp is also PH and recently did an elephant hunt in Zambia (from a report on AR), so who knows. One might get a look in.

If I was fresh from University I would consider something like this, especially if I attended Uni straight from school. Back then you are all "go-go" but later you realise a year or two here and there doing other things does not affect one's career that much, and more importantly enhances one's life experiences.

I don't know if I would want to deal with a four year old kid though. Not really in my mentality.
