Those were Michael Schnider's(guide) findings as well.

The blades broke off on ribs, etc. He always recommended a 2 blade broadhead. The model made in Germany were quite excellent.

Seems to me, these are the ones, iirc, coupled with a heavy aluminum shaft(2219, 2317, etc), making over 600gr. arrows.
