I'd have to agree w/Luv2 ........great rifle and a caliber that will fool you. It's easily capable of doing much more than a "woods caliber.' If you want some interesting reading go to www.kifaru.net and check out the rambling rifle articles on the site. Patrick Smith(Kifaru) has done some great things with the .358Win......it's a very versatile round. Legendary Alaskan brown bear guide, the late Hal Waugh, used a 358Win along w/his favorite .375Wea.........."woods rifle caliber" is a misnomer that has plagued this very efficient thumper for years............you're gonna love that rifle.
