The Sectional Density is very low, thus penetration would be quite poor as well.
1,700fps and 280gr. works out to 1,797.26fpe which sounds decent, from an energy standpoint, however, I think the 100yard vel would be closer to 1,400fpe. Still not bad, but that is a large diameter-for-it's-weight, projectile.
