Guys,
I agree. Just looking at the energy with a 280 gr bullet, it looks to me that the 100 yd velocity is ~ 1700 fps (if my math is correct).
Still, a 280 gr slug at 1700 fps is fairly potent, similar to a 454 Casull at the muzzle.
