About a month ago, our President Bush was in Europe shaking hands and such with Mr.Chirac of France. At the same time, I found it interesting, that TotalFinaElf, the same oil conglomerate described above, bought up a bunch of oil leases in northern Alaska. I really don't see how this will help us become energy independant as a nation but then, what do I know?
