Congratulations. It looks to be in excellent condition. The CMF (not CMP)is an abbreviation for Citizens Military Forces and NSW is the abbreviation for New South Wales, one of Australia's six states. The 8/11 is the issue date of August 1911.

These 310 Cadet rifles were issued as training rifles for the then CMF which is an ancestor to our Army Reserve.
