Mick (264) is still the current custodian of the Fat Lady afaik, and while he obviously has choices when he opens the gunsafe prior to a hunt, that stumpy double has been put to good use in his employ!

I moved it on to help afford an original Army&Navy-retailed Webley screw-grip in .577 Express as a replacement.

Killed a few buff with the 'new' rifle but still haven't bent the stock to fit me properly so the recoil is a bit "uncomfortable". Some might even refer to the 650gr bullet at 1840 fps from a 10 1/4 lb gun as "brutal" but they're obviously just softies...!
