Indeed. Also, pre - WW2 MS had a plain, unadorned, 'cartridge carrier cover plate' rather than those seen on 'postwar' models with Steyr Logo, Stoeger markings (for U.S. import).

From 1939 Stoeger - magazine parts are 39 - 48:
