Officer´s ACP - (un)limited training possible?

Gentlemen,

I have a general question for the use of a Colt Officer´s ACP (stainless steel, Series 80, no modifications, caliber .45 ACP) for training.

A somewhat reduced load will be used:
5.0grs Kemira N320 behind a Haendler & Natermann 230grs copper plated round nose lead bullet with a with cetyl alcohol anti-friction coating (OAL: 32,0mm).

The pistol is normally fired sparingly for around 100 shots per year.

Question:
For training purposes a full day training in an IPSC course should be done with this pistol.
Around 400-500 will be fired in one day.
No doubt that the shooter will suffer more than the pistol, but would you recommend such an extended use of a firearm designed more for show-off and carrying than extended use?
