That wapiti bull looks like another bull has had a go at it while lying on the ground.




I agree--certain the victor took numerous hits on the dead bull once he was down.. saw the same thing on a bison hunt once.. client dropped the bull with a rifle shot..the other bulls went crazy on him..

Moral of the story seems to be 'Even amongst friends and acquaintances, never show weakness"
