What I learned today:

1. (and most important) As I get older, I'm really struggling to see the front site post. I didn't want to scope this weapon, but may have to, unless I can figure out a way to make the post more clear. I wonder if some Flitz might help? Doubtful. The diopter did not help, I tried with and without. I should do better than a 10 inch circle at 50 meters.

2. Bit of a kick, this one has.

3. Happy with the Dorfner ammo. Average muzzle velocity was 2137 fps out of a 19 inch barrel. Will work up the ballistics.

4. Wondering about the bullets. Round nose, I think they were Woodleigh, in which case the ballistic coefficient is .250. Anyone know of any other round nose bullets available? Barnes, Hornady, all list spitzers.

I need to work on snapping in. That FSP is supposed to be my best friend, and I can hardly see it.

I like this one.
