I have two 16s A Webley 700 1957 production ,like brand new and an American Kingsland,a bit of a clunker but it fits well so I shoot it occasionally.
My go to gun is my William Powell 12g followed by the Webley 16g. The Webley can do nearly everything the Powell can do by varying the shells that you use.
I laid in several thousand shells when and where ever I could find them in 2 1/2 & 2 3/4 and all shot sizes plus reloading components so I'm ok for quite a while.

Smart to lay in lots of ammo, no matter what it is..

In this area, the 16 gauge has had a bit of a resurgence.. 16 gauge are readily available in most gun shops.. at least where I shop..
