AFAIK Lancaster did not make a .577 4 barrelled pistol, only in .455, although I have seen such on the internet

Joel Black, who sometimes posts here has a lot of info on these fine pistols

As Daryl states, the .577 revolver cartridge is not that powerful so recoil should be handleable

I shot a .577 Snider DB pistol at last years Alaska shoot and you certainly knew you about it, despite being called a 'wimp' for not shooting it one-handed!!
