NONE of the AK derivatives are known for superb accuracy. The design itself is not conducive to the type of mechanical precision the AR system, for example, inherently possesses. Notably the gas/operating rod assembly attached to the barrel plays havoc with harmonics. Some custom outfits have worked up pretty accurate AK derivatives, but in regular commercial and military production forget it.

The little I know of this subject, and only by reading and listening to others, the above is always what I have been told as well..not take drivers, as you state, as per the design itself..did not know one of the culprits was the actually gas/operating rod assembly.. thx
