Definitely fortunate as the forest guard (assumption of who is in the photo or Mr Asghar Ali Khan as was named) was armed only with a dart gun, against a proven maneater tiger. Fortunate he was backed up by a hunter with a rifle.

Amrtansh Arora - Controversy has erupted over the killing of alleged 'man-eating' tigress Avni who was gunned down last night by hunter Asghar Ali Khan near Yavatmal in Maharashtra's Pandharkawda forest.

Shit for brains, "journalist" Amrtanch Arora who doesn't understand the needed use of "alleged" for human criminals, charged or suspected before being convicted as guilt. The rest of the article shows the same stanky lack of ability and choice of grammar and language. Common with a lot of sub-standard Indian "jounralists", who use emotion not fact and logic.

So as for "alleged", so there was no poor unfortunate victions killed and eaten on by a tiger. And all the evidence to pinpoint the tiger responsible, video footage, night cameras, stripe patterns, tooth marks, clw marks footprints etc does not exist.

Also can't see much sympathy for al;l the human victims. :Like usual with these evil pricks lacking empathy for fellow "sub-class" humans.

As for "Avni", my guess is the tiger was "named" AFTER it was identified as the man-eater and appeared in the press. My guess there was no "Avni" before the serial maneater incidents.

"Murder" of a tiger. Typical animal rights/liberation type speak these days by out of touch urbanists living far from nature's reality. If killing an animal is "murder" then every tiger is a 'serial killer' - of chital and sambar deer, boar, cattle and other animals. Again the logical irrationality of these AR/AL f@ckwits is astounding.

Meanwhile, Avni’s funeral was held in Nagpur earlier today.

Really? They burned the tiger is a "funeral"? Or a "mock" stunt for the photo by "activists"?

Quote:

leonine creature

Can a tiger be "leonine"?

Rich urbanites completely divorced from nature with their inner Mumbai cafes sipping chai lattes and designer drinks, concerned about nature, wildlife, and climate change ... protesting about the "murder" of a maneating tiger wtrecking the lives of many a poor family.

BTW as usual the photo is full of dim witted "activist" females ...

Good men.

One fact which can not be denied, is 1.25 billion persons in India is two to four times too many. Instead of India warping on about "climate change", population change is the real problem. Way too many people, way too many people breeding. Serious meaures to reduce population in India is needed.

As for parks and tigers killing persons, and also wildlife outside parks ... even inside the parks there are multitudes of people, trespassers cutting firewood, cutting frass, grazing animals, cutting lumber illegally, poaching, even living permanently. As for outside the parks, what chance does wildlife have against 1.25 billion people? India was once 70 to in the 90's percent forest. Not that long ago. Now it is less than a couple percent. And they talk about "climate change"?
