Before turning on the lathe I'd be checking with Bertram to see if they make brass. They list 11.2x72 Schuler - which from memory is just the long version made for the colonies, as well as the .45 Blaser (11.5x55) which is just the modern revamp with a shorter case and easier to find bullet diameter
