And believe it or not I have hack-sawed and filed away sections of the integral rail (under rib) on one of these scopes so my German friend could use low Weaver rings with a particular scope he liked and wanted on his Steyr Mannlicher Professional rifle. Was in Germany where I had no access to other than rudimentary tools. Carefully done and black painted on the exposed alloy it looked and shot fine. He was most pleased with my handiwork, guuulp.
