I have a couple of Leupold VX6 1-6x24 on my two Chapuis doubles and they have been great so far.
I also used a Swaro 1.7-13.3 8Xi last year in Cameron and it was magnificent.
My AHR 375 sports a 1-8x24i Schmidt and Bender and while I prefer the Swaro on my new Joe Smithson 375 the bender has been reliable.
In my opinion, the 1-8x24 illuminated scopes are the best hunting scopes ver made. 8x is lots of magnification for bug gme and at 1x they work super fast if needed.
