Don't forget marketing hype. That can add thousands of dollars to a doubles value. Sometimes covered by your "ingredient" - "name".

Personally if I could get the same double as a user with equally good characteristics for thousands of dollars less, it is what I would go for. The "advertising" of brand names has never done much for me.
