Im kind of thinking about the new base " Hunter" model as a back of the truck/NZ type rifle. They are very inexpensive ( and basic).
Had a couple of Kimber select grades and couldnt get them to shoot very well....others, on the other hand say theirs shoot very well.
Ill give one a try.
Good luck on the Thar, lets us know how you go.
