.318WR and Boars
      29/10/17 04:19 PM

Carried the 318WR on a recent hunt. Not really made for busting boars out of dry creek lines but it worked okay. The first boar was asleep amongst a log pile and very hard to make out , slipped a 250 woodleigh into him from about ten feet. Didn't move. Very large bodied boar. Second one was as he erupted out of the creek, from a shady bed. Didn't get very far.
Last couple were only small but great fun as they tried to make it to the safety of the long grass, 250s are a bit hard on pigs. Heres some pics. Cheers Mick
