Funny seeing the vegans/veges/martians thinking it funny that "meateaters" think it is strange to eat roadkill. Maybe I will try smashing a potatoe or a a leek with a hammer, letting it li in the sun for a day, and suggest it to these morons for dinner.

Now as a HUNTER and not a CARRION eater SCAVANGER, I prefer my meat shot well, not bruised, not crawling with maggots, not green with rot ...

A lot of fb-ers think the film was great. They confuse HUNTING with carrion SCAVAGING. The carrion eater usually eats a far "riper" meal.

Never been keen on the "aged" (rotting off the string or post) concept. Ageing works where the temperatures can be maintained at a very low consistent maximum. Similar to setting the meat, allowing it to stiffen up a bit before butchering. Our climate here outside of refridgeration does not allow proper "ageing" in my opinion. Don't like rotted game meats.

I see this guy uses the "weak modern Western stomach" line to say how he handles a roadkill carrion diet. True. A stomach can be toughened up. Also true, the people with "tough stomaches" in the third world, and a hundred years ago also live/lived much shorter lives .....
