I guess I agree with Alan on the fiddely part. I prefer a bore snake for field cleaning though. I carry a 5 piece take down rod for punching out obstructions.

The problem with boresnakes is that you have to have one at least close to the caliber you are using. You have to buy 3-4 to cover the bases.
