At one time, I owned three slant box Rigby Magnum actions. Two had bolt faces and extractors for the rimmed 400/350 cartridge. One had a rimless bolt face and extractor and is now in my gun room as a restored .350 Rigby Magnum. The other two, together with an original slant box Rigby stock were unfortunately in the fire which enveloped Lon Paul's workshop several years ago, as he was preparing to restore one to the original 400/350 caliber and the other to .375 H&H Magnum. Whether the actions are salvageable has yet to be determined.
