.070" firing pins will be fine, make sure they fit tightly in the bushing holes.

9 1/2lbs is very light for a .470, even by English standards. I'd strive for 10.5-11lbs.

Most of my guns will have .100" wall thickness at the muzzle and will carry that till mid barrel.
