The claw mount bases were handfitted, then soldered on the plain rib. Of course, bbls. had to be reblued and re-regulated (to compensate scope and mount mass). I assisted and, being the pain in the *** I am known for in gunmakers circles, I insisted on moving the wedge and de-, resoldering bbls. until I was satisfied with the grouping (truth is my gunmaker was very patient with me

As a free-lance consultant to FN-Browning, I have their latest 2005 info on hand. The B25 Special Trap Evolution 2 retails for 12.165 € (15,800 USD) in plain grade. In grade D5G (= deep engraving, like on my B25 Special Chasse below), the price becomes -pls., take a seat :... 23.427 € (30,455 USD).
