Thank you for confirming that Kuduae. I had not realised you de-cocked and then removed the bolt head first before further disassembly.

I do have a Gewehr88 amongst other things and keep meaning to take the bolt down on it as it has been ages since I did anything with it mostly because I have not got around to ordering a new barrel from LW yet
