I've worked up some good loads, for my classic custom .308 Norma Mag, with 180 gr Hornadys (stcok #3072), that shoots up to 3,153 fps (hot load, or 3,100 fps warm load) with a potential for nearly .5" 3 shot groups. This is a great flat shooting, hard hitting long range load for big game.

I haven't tried any heavier bullets, though I have a couple of boxes of 200 gr Nosler partitions for which I'm yet to look at developing loads. I did try some 190gr Taipans but couldn't really get a them to shoot well with a number of loads using a couple of (ADI) powders, so I haven't perserved with them.
