Here is another example of an early 350 Rigby. It is Lon Paul's personal rifle that he carried on a bear hunt with me and used to stop a large wounded bear as it was about to escape. Above it is my Enfield 9.3x62 that I was modified by Lon.
There are subtle differences in virtually all the old Rigbys as they were built by hand and often were special ordered. So are the new Rigbys, so it is not surprising to find some differences. But all the newer ones I have seen and handled were noticiably meatier than the old ones.
