I wonder what Bell would say of the Merkel 141 in 9,3x74R or 7x65R. Weighing in at only 6.6 Lbs and using modern solids, it could well have been the ideal rifle for his purposes with a fast follow up shot.
Also, I have always wondered why he didn't use a 9,3x62.
