Take a hard look at the Chapuis 9,4x74R.
I have had one for about 7 years.
It is scoped and I have taken quite a bit of game with it in TX, Idaho, Canada, and Africa. It weighs 7 1/4 lbs without scope.
Do a search on my previous posts here and on AR.
The Chapuis is my favorite rifle under 40 calibre.

I would recommend you get one with two triggers.
After you use the 9,3 double, you WILL want a large bore double for sure.
