I agree with gryphon, but if I were in an area with larger more dangerous game I would be loading the heavies too. I have often thought off and on about doing the norma on a springfield, and replicating the old griffin and howe rifles of years past. With talking to my local smith, he can get me a side mount and take care of the work, and have to admit the offer is very tempting. With that in mind, the heaviest bullet I would care to load is the 250 grain variety.
