If I recall correctly the Department of Transport decided to put a major new road through their listed, so technically protected, ex print warehouse and that is what they did compulsory purchased buildings and land and steamrolled the new road through planning etc.

Have seen a few Whitworth sporting rifles advertised and a friend owned a Muaser based on in 243 that shoot well. I cleaned up the trigger pull for him and lightened it a bit as it was still the pure Mauser two stage one fitted. We don't seem to come across them very often seem that they exported most of them.
