Powder Coating Cast Bullets!
      07/08/15 05:55 PM

G'Day Fella's,

I have been viewing others on-line doing this for some time now but not attempted it myself.
As you would expect with us Humans, there are some of us that can re-think a situation and come up with alternatives to the original methods! So has been the case with this procedure!
This has resulted in a Once only Coating and Baking method, as opposed to some others required Two separate Coatings and Baking sessions!!!

FYI, here is what has to be the simplest method that I have seen, to coat and then fuse Powder Coating powder, onto cast bullets! Please excuse our good mate on this video (Harold), as he does cover a number of issues and this takes time but this is all useful information.

Personally, I'll be using some small Tupperware type containers to do my coating, as I already use this method (but different containers) for HBN coating jacketed bullets!

Also for more information on this, Google up; "Powder Coating Cast Bullets", and see what comes up...

Further to this method, rather than just place all the bullets rolling around on a mesh tray, I want to use either sheet metal with perforated holes and or woven mesh etc (with appropriate size holes to suit bullets being coated), of a size to fit in my oven. I want to sit the bullets individually into these holes or mesh, for an improved coating and finish (I hope?).

Doh!

Edit Homer;
Here is an even more simple method, where the person places the cast bullets in the Tupperware container with some Powder Coating (PC) powder, and gently swirls the container for a minute or two!
