Fishing in N.E. Iowa

Just a couple of photos of my wife (in her kayak), my son and myself from our Independence Day week of vacation at our cabin on the Turkey River.
Fishing was tough as the water was up and off color.
The smallmouth bass that I'm holding was 18" long and was the largest bass of the week (We've caught them up to 22" in this part of the river).
I did get a 24" brown trout earlier in the week but I forgot the camera... DUH!
