You've an edge with speaking French, maybe You'll be more in touch with the blacks than your Zim PH and more aware of what is going on when tracking. Having a rifle incidentally shooting game is not a good idea, you better have to bargain it. Roan or waterbucks, common games, aren't pricey. Derby eland is a sissy, unlike the Cape eland, any wound is stopping him, he has no fight spirit. A 9.3x74 double rifle will do the trick. Ethiopia is another story, an expensive hunting country if You're looking for a Mtn Nyala.
