I think most of the Scottish names, Dickson, MacNaughton, Harkom, Daniel Fraser, Alex Henry etc are owned by http://www.gunandline.com/content.asp?ArticleCode=560 though they do not make guns under all the names that they own. www.internetgunclub.com has a lot of data on the old names including several incarnations of the Alex Henry firm - it also talks about an Alex Henry Ltd which it says is in the UK but gives no address or data - and I'll try to post there and find out.

I agree with you that any revival of a grand old round should be extremely interesting and thanks for this suggestion.
