Looks like you could make some thing out of it, I most likely could not but VonGruff could .

I have saved a few stocks that had channels milled out by expects & factory by adding a contrasting fore end tip, I use Buff horn as it is easier then Ebony for me to get, might be harder to do now after you took a lot of wood off, but add a longer piece, slim down as much as you can around the mag well, then trim tip till it looks right !
