How to tell if a Takedown?

Hello fellows!

May sound silly, but how do you tell if a mannlicher schoenauer (man-licker or man-licher? For pronounciation) is a takedown? I mean the system where barrelled action as stock are separated, not the way with the barrel unscrewing.
