my Mauser 98 in 9,3x64 made by Voere in Kufstein/Austria for Eduard Kettner in 1973 have also a "Laufstahl 3" barrel



also hope Laufstahl 3 is the best quality
a friend have a 9,3x64 Kettner 98 in a more basic version and his barrel measure 16,9mm on the muzzle. my own barrel measure 14,9mm on the muzzle and when you hold the two rifle side by side it looks very thin.
