m4220,

you will find plenty information in this German site:
http://www.messerforum.net/showthread.php?102638-Waidmannsheil-vs-Weidmannsheil

In brief:
"Weidmannsheil" was the trademark of the cutlery Wilhelm Weltersbach in Solingen which went out of business in 1994. The trademark was then acquired by the company Diefenthal also from Solingen, which up to then already had used the mark "Waidmannsheil".
(German hunters will forever discuss which form is the "correct" one....)

Your knife appears to copy the lines of the Puma model "White Hunter", so it should come from the 1960s or later.
