The fact it turned out to be a small ring, despite an initial twitch of disappointment, turned out to be a +. A Brno 22H action I've had for a few years and it look just great together.
I wish I had Speed's book but the cost has gone beyond me - it would be interesting to see a pic. of the "sister"
Yes it was a good deal for someone that doesn't care about calibre, the workmanship is absolutely wonderful. Don't quote me but a new barrel in the configuration I think is about $3000.00Cdn?? today
and no history for story telling.
