As vapodog mentioned, the Springbok is the national animal of South Africa. It is the smallest in horn size of the 2 sub-species. In RSA, as a result of selective breeding, it is available in 3 color phases: the regular (which I think is the most beautiful), white, and black. The white, and black varients generally have smaller horns than the naturally colored ones.

The largest Springbok inhabit Namibia, and Botswana. Their body size is the same as those from RSA, but their horn length is considerably longer. Because of this SCI has created seperate record book criteria for the 2 sub-species, with the Namibia and Botswana entries being classified as Kalahari Springbok. In Namibia, on a good property, Springbok with horns from 15 1/2 to 17 inches (if you're really lucky) can be taken.

In Namibia, other animals that are generally found in the same area as the Springbok include Gemsbok, Kudu, Burchell Zebra, Giraffe, Blue & Black Wildebeest, Red Hartebeast, Impala, Steenbok, sometimes Eland, and Blesbok. All of which are fun to hunt.

By the way, the Sprinkbok are in the Gazelle family, and are the most southern ranging Gazelle.
